The exact identity of the wreck, situated off the west coast of the Lizard Peninsula is unknown but may have been a light armed merchant ship of the early 17th century. This assessment covers an overview of the site's significance, a survey of reports about the site, the evidence from the site, including finds and discussion of the threats that face it.</dc:description>
