  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) and Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (CEFAS) undertook an offshore seabed Marine Conservation Zone (MCZ) verification survey of Barmade Bank on the Research Vessel (RV) CEFAS Endeavour in 7th March 2012 (Cruise Code: CEND0412). Compass Rose and Farnes East were also surveyed as part of the MB120 project. The aim of the survey was to collect additional data at a number of recommended Marine Conservation Zones (rMCZ) within the Net Gain regional project to increase confidence in the evidence for the presence and extent of the Broadscale Habitats (BSH) and Habitat Features of Conservation Importance (FOCI) included in the proposals for designation. Survey data collected at Barmade Bank were videos and stills.</dc:description>
