  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Since 2009, Eastern IFCA (and its predecessor, Eastern Sea Fisheries Joint Committee), has undertaken spring and autumn surveys to determine the biomass and size distribution of mussel, Mytilus edulis, stocks on a bed situated on Titchwell beach, North Norfolk. The stock assessment surveys are used to determine the condition of the bed and whether the bed could support a viable seed mussel fishery.</dc:description>
