 N.B.: So far only rare and protected mollusc records have been entered onto the Dorset database from this extensive collection. Please consult recording cards for more common species records. The UK Conchological Society holds all the records electronically and has promised to copy all the Dorset records to Dorset Environmental Records Centre as soon as they have converted over to Marine Recorder and transfer will be easier.</dc:description>
