  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Marine benthic species abundance data from the autumn surveys forming part of an environmental survey for a proposed sea outfall for discharge of treated sewage from the Dunoon area. The survey was undertaken by ERT (Scotland) Ltd, on behalf of West of Scotland Water and defined the current state of the marine environment in the vicinity of the proposed outfall. The survey also included recording of hydrographical conditions, current metering, collection and analysis of water and seabed sediment samples. This data has been entered under a Defra/NBN contract CRO313.</dc:description>
