  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Phase 1 of the construction of the London Array offshore wind farm situated midway between the Kent and Essex coastlines and more than 20km from each shore. Phase 1 comprises 175 turbines, 2 offshore substations, and 4 export cables to the shore. This particular part of the project is the archaeological assessment of organic material which was recovered during net recovery of two Otter and Beam Trawl fish surveys, taking place on 25 and 26 November 2013 as part of environmental monitoring around the wind farm. The finds were reported to the London Array Retained Archaeologists under the Offshore Renewables Protocol for Archaeological Discoveries (ORPAD).</dc:description>
