2021 GEOxyz HOW03 Full Subsurface Interpretation dataset https://portal.medin.org.uk/portal/start.php?tpc=010_f6e80d9abc906d8b4483738679549565 Orsted Wind Power A/S have awarded GEOxyz UK Limited a contract to perform a pre-geotechnical geophysical survey for the Hornsea 3 offshore windfarm (HOW03) at locations along the Export Cable Route (ECR), funnel area and within the main array area. The survey setup is part of an overall strategy to reduce the UXO risk to ALARP (as low as reasonably possible). The survey is designed to provide information needed primarily for the following: -UXO survey for avoidance prior to Geotechnical investigations -Mitigation of risk to geotechnical equipment from boulders and debris -Mitigation of risk to objects of archaeological significance during Geotechnical investigations -Morphological Seabed Assessment -Provision of shallow sub-surface conditions to Offshore Supervisors during Geotechnical investigation.
