<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Within the Rivers Stour and Orwell, Eastern IFCA (and its predecessor, ESFJC) first mapped the extent of the Peacock Fan Worm (Sabella pavonina) in 2003 using Roxann Acoustic Ground Discrimination System (AGDS) together with a 0.1 m squared day grab and video. Colonies were found between Holbrook Bay and Copperas Bay in the River Stour, and another colony between Levington Creek and Trimley Marshes in the River Orwell. The aim of the surveys was to monitor the condition, extent and density of the Peacock Fan Worm colonies.</dc:description>
