  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This is a set of standardises cards used to enter the biomass and dry weights for plankton recovered from Marine Scotland Archives. The scans are of original hand written records, and does not currently include a fully digitised version.
There are scanned cards from 3 different research vessels (Clupea, Explorer, and Scotia), with a total of 5,877 pages scanned. The data are split into annual collections per vessel. THere are break or missing years in most time series.</dc:description>
