  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Quarter 3 Rockall Bottom Trawl Survey to provide indices on haddock (Melanogrammus aeglefinus) and associated data on all other species present. The survey is coordinated by Marine Scotland and undertaken annually. The metadata record herein describes the sampling component of the survey conducted in 2021. 
Survey Objectives: To undertake the bottom trawl survey of haddock on the Rockall Plateau within the 350 m isobath. To deploy a CTD at selected trawl stations to collect temperature and salinity profiles. To collect biodata and samples (otoliths) from key species for population studies, and to fulfil other requests, e.g. MSFD litter recording
