Marine Scotland Science uses MRV Scotia to undertake a trawl survey along of continental slope of the eastern Rockall Trough, an area is situated some 100 km to the north and west of Scotland. The continental slope separates the shallow shelf seas (< 200 m) from the deep ocean plains (> 2000 m) and supports a diverse assemblage of fish, some of which are commercially exploited such as roundnose grenadier, blue ling, black scabbard. This metadata record describes the sampling conducted in 2019.</dc:description>
