  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This metadata record describes the Marine Directorate's commercial vessel charter 0225H using the fishing vessel Audacious to conduct the Scottish Irish Anglerfish and Megrim Industry Science Survey (SIAMISS) in 2025, in the waters of Rockall, West of Scotland and the North Sea, ICES areas VIb, VIa and IVa. This trawl survey followed a set of protocols drawn up by an industry science survey-planning group made up of Marine Directorate scientists and fishing representatives. These protocols share much in common with the sampling regimes described in Marine Directorate's standing instructions for demersal trawl surveys and as described in the ICES IBTS SISPs</dc:description>
