The aim of the seasonal fisheries surveys conducted within the Gunfleet Sands area was to gather fisheries data on and around Gunfleet Sands with which to establish a baseline of the seasonal assemblages of fish species within the area prior to the development of Gunfleet Sands wind farm (GS1 and extension GS2). This allows a description of baseline conditions to be made against which potential environmental effects on fish distribution in the vicinity of the windfarm sites may be measured.
