<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Assessments of the shipping and navigational impacts resulting from the Ormonde wind farm. Environmental Statement Appendix 13.

The assessment found that vessel activity within the Ormonde site was minimal, and the project was situated outside main navigation routes. While cumulative regional wind farm developments could modestly increase vessel encounter rates and collision risks, these remained well below industry averages. The study recommended mitigation measures including boundary adjustments, navigational aids, emergency access provisions, clear notification procedures, and ongoing stakeholder engagement, with further risk mitigation if additional developments proceed. The overall conclusion was that, with these measures in place, the Ormonde Project's impacts on navigation and marine safety would be minor and manageable.</dc:description>
