<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">As part of the Marine Management Organisation (MMO), Lincs Marine Licence (Licence Number: L/2011/00111/8) and under Natural England request, RSK was commissioned by Centrica to undergo botanical surveys to monitor the recovery of saltmarsh vegetation affected following cable trenching operations associated with the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm.

This report contains the results of botanical monitoring surveys carried out in connection with a cable trench (Nearshore Eastern Cable) for the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm. It provides the survey findings for pre- and post- construction surveys completed up until the end of February 2012 i.e. the first 6-months. Further reports will be submitted on an annual basis for the next five years as part of the monitoring plan.

The aim of the botanical survey was to compare the vegetation in areas crossed by trenching operations (i.e. impacted areas) with that in unaffected areas (i.e. control areas). Data was collected pre-construction and post-construction during recovery.</dc:description>
