  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Bibby HydroMap were commissioned by Blyth Offshore Demonstrator Ltd/EDF Renewables, in August 2018, to undertake two geophysical surveys (in August-September 2018 and April 2019) at the Blyth Offshore Demonstrator wind farm, located off the north-east coast of the UK at Blyth, Northumberland. The 2019 survey was undertaken between 16th and 30th April 2019. This survey, comprising the collection of multibeam bathymetry and side scan sonar data, marks the first of a 3-year monitoring program, which will be undertaken at 6 monthly intervals, and after any major storm events.

 The objectives of the survey program are to acquire survey data to a resolution that will:
 - Identify seabed debris within the construction area;
 - Identify changes to seabed morphology, to enable the evaluation of the effectiveness of installed scour protection and ratify predictions for scour development;
 - Inform the foundation and cable maintenance schedule; and
 - Satisfy the requirements of the Marine Licence.</dc:description>
