RPS Transport has been commissioned to undertake a route assessment study to establish suitable routes for construction vehicles associated with the onshore cable route required to connect the wind farm to a substation. The proposed cable route will join land to the north of Sutton Bridge and connect with Walpole substation. This assessment details potential access routes to and from the construction easement strip and sub station from strategic roads and considers possible highway improvement measures that would be necessary to ensure safety and minimal disruption to other road users.
