<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This Scoping Report examines factors that are relevant to the terrestrial cable route, at all locations from the intertidal at Holland-on-Sea to the connection with the sub-station. At present, three route options are under consideration. It is considered that each of the three routes may be installed without causing unacceptable impacts, provided that appropriate working methods are used and the work is carried out at the optimum time of year. The purpose of the EIA will be to establish whether this is correct and assess the relative impacts of the three routes so that a planning application can be made on the preferred route.</dc:description>
