  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This report presents the results of a preliminary ecological appraisal (PEA), comprising a background data search (BDS) and a Phase 1 habitat survey with assessment for protected species at the onshore works areas for the Enlli Tidal Project in Aberdaron, Gwynedd. This report has been produced to inform an environmental impact assessment for the offshore tidal turbine project. It identifies ecological constraints on the project, specifies any further survey or mitigation requirements, and gives recommendations for avoidance and protection through design changes and construction mitigation. The appraisal was carried out on behalf of NOVA Innovation.</dc:description>
