<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This report details the possible wind turbine layouts for Gwynt y Mor, the type of foundations that would be used and supporting structures and cabling between structures and substations. The impact of the construction, operating and decomissioning impacts on the physical environment are discussed. Hydrodynamic models (tidal flow and waves) were then used to analyse the affect of the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm on the physical environment in the Liverpool Bay area, and particularly sediment transport and coastal process environment. The level of comparison between the models and observed data is considered to be good and of sufficient quality for a quantifiable assessment. The extent of the analysis was from the Mersey Estuary and Lancashire coastline in the east to Anglesey and the North Wales coastline in the west.</dc:description>
