<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">RPS contracted Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (Consulting) Limited (WWT Consulting) to provide weekly counts of peak numbers of Pink-footed Geese (Anser brachyrhynchus) and Whooper Swans (Cygnus cygnus) on the WWT Martin Mere reserve in Lancashire. These data were collected to inform consent licensing requirements at the Ormonde offshore wind farm, with the objective of determining whether the patterns of arrival of migrating Pink-footed Geese and Whooper Swans are impacted by the location of the offshore wind farms in the East Irish Sea. Counts were to take place from the week commencing 7th September to the week commencing 21st December, 2014.</dc:description>
