<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Ørsted Power contracted EGS international Ltd (EGSi) to undertake a bathymetric survey at West of Duddon Sands (WDS01) Offshore Windfarm in the Irish Sea. Data was acquired during September to November 2018.
The purpose was to fulfil the asset integrity reporting requirements namely bathymetric understanding and 2017 vs 2018 bathymetric comparisons of change at the site of the offshore substation, the subsea route that follows the two export cables, all turbines and IACs.

The surveys were conducted onboard the EGS owned coastal survey vessel ‘EGS Watchful’, which operated on a 12hr basis from Fleetwood Marina and Orsteds operational docking facility at Barrow-in-Furness. Vessel mobilisation, calibrations and verifications began between 4th and 14th April 2018 whilst the vessel was in Ramsgate and were then completed offshore Barrow after the vessel was road transported to site. Survey operations commenced at WDS01 on 30th September 2018 and concluded on 22nd November 2018.</dc:description>
