<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Aquatic Survey & Monitoring Ltd (ASML) was appointed to undertake a benthic seabed survey to contribute to the Inner Sound EIA. The report presents the results of the benthic survey which was carried out during July 2011. The survey planned to use a combination of remote video and infaunal sampling to describe the biotope complement of the area and look for features of conservation interest. The approach was based on baseline monitoring work carried out for English Nature (now Natural England) at Flamborough Head (Howson et al., 2003) and for Scottish Natural Heritage in the Firth of Lorn (Howson et al., 2006) and Loch Sunart (Mercer et al., 2007).</dc:description>
