  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This project contains the results of benthic surveys at the Gunfleet Sands I and II offshore windfarm sites. The surveys were carried out by RPS hydrosearch on behalf of DONG Energy. Results include maps of bathymetry, sediment types, seabed features and sidescan sonars. Data was collected in May 2007. Data from 2002 and 2007 surveys of the whole study area, including the cable route and the GS2 proposed offshore wind farm (just to the south of GS1) were analysed for this study. Benthic samples were collected using 0.1m2 day grabs at 65 sites in 2002 and 29 sites in 2007.</dc:description>
