  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Geotechnical Engineering and Marine Surveys Limited (GEMS) have been contracted by Dudgeon
Offshore Wind Limited (COMPANY) to perform a preliminary geotechnical investigation at the proposed
Dudgeon Offshore Wind Farm site in the southern North Sea. The site is approximately 65km east of
Skegness (East Lincolnshire) and 32km North of Cromer (North Norfolk), covering an area of
approximately 35km&#xB2;. The investigation consisted of geotechnical borings at 4 locations.
Fieldwork operations were conducted from the vessel MV Investigator which is owned by GEMS
International NV and managed by Chapman International Services Ltd. The vessel is provided to GEMS
under exclusive long term charter.
Fieldwork operations were carried out from the 1st June to the 9th June 2009 and a Field Report has been
submitted ref.GUK09034-FLD-01-02.</dc:description>
