<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">During spring and early summer 2011, systematic environmental wildlife surveys were commissioned by Ocean Flow in Sanda Sound, off Pennyseorach farm. These surveys consisted of:
(i) Observations of seabird numbers and behaviour in the Sound,
(ii) Observation of cetacean numbers and behaviour in the Sound,
(iii) A walk-through survey around the onshore site of a proposed equipment container.

The environmental survey work was carried out by Eddie Maguire, Warden at Machrihanish Seabird Observatory. Survey methodology and assistance was prepared and supplied by Nigel Harding of Craigton Ecological Services, via Xodus Group1.</dc:description>
