  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This project details the Navigational Risk Assessment surveys undertaken by Strategic Marine Services (SMS) Ltd within the site of the Gwynt Y Mor Offshore wind farm. SMS used data from Maritime Traffic Surveys conducted for npower renewables by Anatec UK Limited as well as consulting senior and experienced mariners. Computer simulations were run to calculate the effect of the Wind Farm on navigation and was used in combination with other desk based research.</dc:description>
