  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">An ornithological assessment for the proposed Kentish Flats offshore wind farm has been undertaken by Environmentally Sustainable Systems on behalf of GREP UK Marine Ltd. The work assesses the number and distribution of birds present in the proposed wind farm area during seven months of the year, from October 2001 to April 2002, and assesses the risks and likely effects of disturbance and potential collisions with turbines upon bird populations caused by the construction of a wind farm at Kentish Flats.</dc:description>
