  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This project aims to create awareness of the operational performance of dredger ships and the savings that can be made on fuel and gaseous emissions. Various factors were examined including improving sailing performance of the ships hull and propulsion system. The overall conclusion of this study is that increased awareness of fuel saving potentials and small changes in operation and maintenance strategies, large savings can be made in fuel emissions.</dc:description>
