<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">During the course of the geophysical cable route investigation by TITAN ENVIRONMENTAL SURVEYS LTD for the proposed wind farm development on Gunfleet sands it was noted that the proposed landfall position appeared to be located on a route which would necessitate substantial excavation so as to cross a 2m high seawall, 3m long promenade and up the face of a vegetated cliff. An alternative route approximately 150m to the west looked promising as the Clacton-on-Sea slipway gave ready access for heavy plant and equipment and looked to be a logical location to pull the proposed cables ashore.</dc:description>
