  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This Habitats Regulations Assessment addresses the requirement contained in regulation 5(2)(g) of the Infrastructure Planning Regulations 2009, which requires an applicant for development consent to provide a report identifying any European Site to which regulation 61 of the Conservation Regulations 2010 applies, or any Ramsar site, which may be affected by the proposed development, together with sufficient information that will enable the Competent Authority to make an appropriate assessment of the implications for the site if required by regulation 61(1). The offshore wind farm componenet of the proposed development is not located within a European or Ramsar site but the offshore cable corridor crosses the Liverpool Bay SPA site abd the Morecambe Bay SAC, SPA and Ramsar sites to make landfall on the Lancastrian coast, south of Heysham. The Project is not directly connected with or necessary to the management of these sites or any of the European or Ramsar sites considered in this assessment.</dc:description>
