The offshore wind farm componenet of the proposed development is not located within a European or Ramsar site but the offshore cable corridor crosses the Liverpool Bay SPA site abd the Morecambe Bay SAC, SPA and Ramsar sites to make landfall on the Lancastrian coast, south of Heysham.
