<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Osiris Projects were commissioned in May 2010 by Senergy Survey and Geoengineering, on behalf of their clients, EDP Renewables and SeaEnergy Renewables, to carry out a geophysical site survey at the proposed Moray offshore wind farm in the Moray Firth. Unless stated otherwise, all co-ordinates quoted in this report are referenced to the WGS84 Datum. Grid co-ordinates are on the UTM Projection, Zone 30N, Central Meridian 3°W. The survey was carried out between 22nd May 2010 and 25th September 2010.

The main objectives of the survey were to assess detailed bathymetry, seabed features and sub-bottom conditions for input to turbine foundation planning across the site. The survey was carried out in three parts; the first part included acquisition of bathymetry, side scan sonar and sub-bottom profiler data for a coarse and detail grid on the Phase 1 area; the second part acquired 2D high resolution seismic data across the Phase 1 and Phase 2 areas; the third part included an analogue survey over a coarse grid on the Phase 2 area. This volume (Volume 1: Operations Report) details the operational parameters, locations, times and techniques utilised during the surveys. Volume 2 (volumes 2a to 2i) contains the results and interpretation of the survey data.</dc:description>
