<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The series of environmental and ecological studies aimed to assess the impacts of the construction and operation of the Lynn and Inner Dowsing offshore wind farms on seabird populations, benthic habitats, coastal processes, fish and invertebrate species, and water quality, as required by FEPA licence conditions and in compliance with regulatory guidance.

Methodologies included systematic boat-based and aerial surveys, line-transect protocols, radar and visual bird migration monitoring, hydrographic and geotechnical studies, trawl and potting surveys, sediment sampling, and sonar mapping, with standardised enhancements and stakeholder coordination.

Key findings indicated limited significant population-level effects for most seabird species, with notable displacement of Red-throated Divers and declines in some gull species post-construction, minimal collision risk for migratory geese, stable or recovered coastal profiles, persistent Sabellaria reefs and seed mussel beds, and robust fish and invertebrate documentation. Conclusions emphasise natural variability as a major factor in observed changes, with few direct operational impacts, and recommend continued long-term, multi-site monitoring, methodological refinement, adaptive management, and clear reporting to inform ongoing ecological assessments, regulatory compliance, and mitigation planning.</dc:description>
