<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">A UXO survey to locate, using electromagnetic means, any munitions contamination that could endanger intrusive ground engineering works or Cone Penetration Test (CPT) investigations on a possible munitions contaminated site along the proposed export cable route.

No hazardous munitions were found—only non-hazardous metal debris—leading to the issuance of an Explosives Free Certificate on December 7, 2010, certifying the area as 99.9% free from munitions to a depth of four meters. The survey concluded that only the specifically surveyed route is certified as free of explosive hazards, with the caveat that munitions may migrate due to tidal or severe weather events, and further surveys are recommended prior to future groundwork.</dc:description>
