<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The measurement programme has been undertaken for inclusion in an Environmental Statement to be submitted by Sea Generation that will address the potential impact of construction, operation and decommissioning of an array of tidal turbine devices at the site.

This report has been prepared by Subacoustech Ltd for Sea Generation (Wales) Ltd. It describes a series of measurements of background underwater noise in and around the proposed site of an array of SeaGen tidal turbine devices near the Skerries area off the coast of North Wales. Spectral analysis of the data has indicated an increase in underwater noise over a broad high frequency band from 3 kHz to 60 kHz during periods of increased tidal flow. It is thought that this noise is generated by interaction of turbulant water at the sea bed and other boundaries</dc:description>
