  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The report in this series describes benthic ecological assessment of the Strangford Lough Narrows in relation to the installation of the SeaGen wave turbine by Marine Current Turbines Ltd. Atlantic RMS Ltd. was contracted by Queen's University Belfast to analyse diver-taken video samples from the impacted area both before and after the turbine installation. The survey was carried out by Irish Diving Contractors, Oranmore, Co. Galway. The sampling methodology followed that outlined in the revised sampling brief produced by Royal Haskoning for the Science Group. Here, we report on the baseline survey, the first and second post installation surveys. A further survey is planned for March 2010.</dc:description>
