<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Celtic Array commissioned Renewable Energy Systems Ltd (RES) in 2011 to carry out a desk review of potential landfall locations around the north coast of Anglesey and Stanah for Round 3 Irish Sea Zone grid connection[1]. From this review, 25 potential landfall locations were identified on Anglesey and of these 24 locations, 11 of the landfall locations were identified as providing the most promising solutions for a grid connection on Anglesey. A series of site visits were conducted March 2011 to verify the engineering suitability of the 11 selected landfall locations and to support the recommendations made.
