  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">The Crown Estate has commissioned Prevailing to undertake data processing for a fleet of offshore masts around the UK. The goal of this processing is to provide a subset of masts and signals from the masts suitable for use in an atmospheric modelling validation study.

Data processing was carried out by DNV-GL previously. Prevailing has therefore undertaken the following steps:
1. Selection of a subset of masts suitable for the validation study;
2. Extraction of cleaned and calibrated data from DNV-GL files;
3. Cleaning and calibration of raw data for these masts for all new data;
4. Splicing of the DNV-GL and Prevailing data sets for each mast, with checks on consistency through overlapping records.
5. Export of a single data set for each mast, for a subset of signals.</dc:description>
