<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Osiris Projects were commissioned in July 2010, by Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd to carry out a geophysical survey for the proposed extension to the Kentish Flats 2 Offshore Wind Farm. The survey was completed under Osiris Projects Terms and Conditions and was carried out between 22nd July and 22nd September 2010.

The methodology included identification and analysis of sonar targets, sediment-filled buried channels, and magnetic anomalies. Key findings revealed a generally flat seabed with sandy gravels, London Clay outcrops, extensive buried channels with infill sediments, rock armour, seabed depressions, megaripple bed forms, magnetic anomalies linked to infrastructure and possible ferromagnetic sulphides, and evidence of fishing activity. The survey concluded that the generated charts and data are vital for site planning and recommended further investigation of magnetic anomalies, sediment variability, and buried features to inform safe and effective project design and cable installation.</dc:description>
