<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Greater Gabbard Offshore Winds Ltd. (GGOWL) has contracted Noordhoek Offshore B.V. with
GEO (Danish Geotechnical Institute) as sub-contractor to conduct geotechnical work in terms
of seabed CPT’s (Cone Penetration Test) for The Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm Project.
Test site is located approximately 26 km (14 nautical miles) off the Sufford Coast at Felixstowe/
Hollesley Bay.
The geotechnical work has including seabed CPTs at the planned wind park turbine locations
and at a part of the Cable Route Corridors. Totally 138 CPTs have been carried out for the
wind turbines and 9 CPTs for the cable routes.
This report presents the results from these investigations. The report includes factual data
including both measured cone resistance and sleeve friction and values corrected for pore
pressure effects. No interpretations of the measured data are included in this report.</dc:description>
