<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Anatec Ltd have been commissioned by Centrica Renewable Energy Ltd to perform a risk assessment for the interaction between fishing vessels and the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm export cable and inter-array cables. The reports in this series present an analysis of fishing activity levels in and around the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm export cable, using a combination of AIS (Automatic Identification System), sightings (over flight patrols) and VMS satellite data.
This work has been carried out in close cooperation with Brown and May Marine who have carried out extensive work with respect to fishing activities in and around the Lincs Offshore Wind Farm. This has included provision of data for the assessment and consultation on the expected fishing activity post-construction, as well as validation of the findings of the work.</dc:description>
