  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Partrac Ltd were contracted by SSE Renewables to deploy two Waverider buoys off Costa Head
in the Orkney Island archipelago. The objective of this study was to provide wave data (height,
period, direction and spread) for wave power analysis that will inform the developer's physical
processes modelling and engineering design in relation to a proposed wave energy
development.
This report provides wave parameters and wave power analysis for the full deployment between
14th March, 2012 and 20th March, 2013 for Waveriders at two sites, site ST001 and site
ST002. An additional comparison between data collected at these sites against concurrent
data at ADCP sites ST003 and ST004 is also provided.</dc:description>
