  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Partrac Ltd were contracted to undertake a sediment monitoring survey at the Ormonde offshore wind farm (OWF). This occurred over a Spring tide (3rd to 5th July 2012). Three locations were surveyed: at the northern turbine in the array (OR-D8), around the southern turbine in the array (OR-A1), and a control station 2km from the OWF. A YSI 6600 multiparameter instrument comprising CTD (conductivity, temperature, depth) sensors and a nephelometer (optical sidescatter turbidity) was used in conjunction with an OSIL MiniBAT towed system to collect data on water column turbidity conditions (in particular those near to the seabed).</dc:description>
