<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">In December 2003, npower renewables (NR) was granted a Round II wind farm exploration licence by the
Crown Estate in an area known as Triton Knoll. In April 2004, NR commissioned Emu Ltd to undertake a
GIS-based review of the constraints in relation to the Triton Knoll site. This review concluded that due to
the number of potential constraints associated with the original Triton Knoll site, there may be potentially
more suitable areas within the Greater Wash Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) area for
development. Consequently, Emu Ltd was requested to review constraints within the entire SEA area and
identify any potential areas for development. Following this wider review, 4 additional potential
development areas were identified (Area 1 - Holderness, Area 2 - Modified Triton Knoll, Area 3 - Dudgeon
Shoal and Area 4 - Sole Pit/Well Hole).</dc:description>
