  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">As part of the assessment of the impact on shipping and marine activities as a result of the proposed development of the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm site, a 28 day traffic survey is carried out in the area of the proposed development. This survey is carried out over 2 x 14 day periods to cover seasonal and tidal variations during January and July 2011. The data was collected using radar, AIS and visual observations.</dc:description>
