The main note was that of the issues facing the marine aggregate industry the most crucial was the need for new aggregate reserves. An ongoing project into the impact of dredging upon marine life was completed and was summarised. Projects supplied with marine aggregates have included the Channel Tunnel Link and vital south and east coast flood defences.</dc:description>
