<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Turbidity monitoring, during construction of the 30-turbine offshore wind farm site at Kentish Flats, was undertaken to monitor cable laying impacts. Turbidity, potentially caused by the cable laying activity, was obtained by profiling through the water column using an OBS (YSI 6000), deployed from a moving vessel. During monitoring, at each 10 minute interval, the position of the survey vessel was noted and logged using a Leica MX400 DGPS navigation system. Water samples were concurrently taken with turbidity measurements for the conversion of NTU values to mg l-1.</dc:description>
