  <dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Moray Offshore Renewables Ltd (MORL) is developing Zone 1 of the Third Offshore Wind Licensing Round. This location was identified by The Crown Estate as part of their work to enable the development of offshore wind in UK waters. As part of the concept selection process, MORL have contracted Mott MacDonald, to calculate the expected inter-array electrical system losses for a number of wind turbine types and their initial inter-array connection designs. Furthermore, the inter-array cable connection designs have been, where possible, improved with a view of reducing the overall system electrical losses.</dc:description>
