<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Statoil Petroleum ASA is developing the Hywind Scotland Pilot Park wind farm, off Peterhead in Scotland. Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) technology is chosen for the export cable installation at the landing, in Peterhead. Fugro Survey AS (FSAS) was contracted by Hywind (Scotland) Ltd to perform the nearshore geophysical survey at the cable landing area. The purpose of the survey was to collect information regarding the subsurface rock, surficial deposits and depth of bedrock along the proposed HDD tunnel, from shoreline to about 400m toward sea, within 15 metres water depths. The seismic refraction survey was carried out using “Hercules” and “Argosy” vessels for 10-hours operations per day between 11th and 26th May 2015. As well as reports detailing the Geophysical Surveys, there is also a Data Integration report within this series, which contains an integration of geophysical and geotechnical data acquired at the HywindScotland Landfall site.</dc:description>
