<dc:description xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">This series contains a selection of reports and graphics detailing the airborne noise modelling surveys and monitoring proposals developed for Atlantic Array Offshore Windfarm. Included are the three relevent annexs from the Environmental Statement providing, first, a discussion of airborne noise propagation in offshore environments and the models used in the assessment of piling and operational noise for the Atlantic Array offshore wind farm project, second, calculations of the prediction of piling noise effects associated with the construction of the Atlantic Array Offshore Wind Farm for 5 and 8 MW turbine layouts and, third, calculations of the prediction of operational noise effects associated with the operation of the Atlantic Array Offshore Wind Farm for which two layouts are considered, 240 x 5 MW wind turbine generators (WTGs) and 150 x 8 MW WTGs.
In addition there is an internal RWE report on likely monitoring positions for assessing the impact of construction noise of the electrical substation and the Atlantic Array. Some of these positions were to be used as possible monitoring locations for operation noise of the Atlantic Array.</dc:description>
